The Bright Tangerine Alexa Mini Master System is a low profile power distribution solution, designed to greatly expand your power connection options for video accessories – such as monitors, lens motors, and wireless receivers/transmitters – whilst simultaneously powering your ARRI Alexa Mini camera. The rig is powered by using an on-board V-Mount battery, or by using the DC input option. This system compliments owner/operator setups, providing them with a complete and functional package. It also caters to rental houses wanting to offer a broad power solution when renting out the ARRI Alexa Mini camera. The Power Module mounts onto the camera body via the Left Side Cheese Plate, which in turn is mounted on to the ARRI MAP-1 or MAP-2 plates. Given that it does not require an additional rail support, this system does not add any unnecessary bulk or weight to your camera setup, and its small form factor allows the package to be used in any shooting scenario. The Alexa Mini Master System weighs in at a mere 900 grams, making it a viable option for lightweight setups. This cage system also helps in counterbalancing, by shifting the centre of gravity away from the lens, adjusting for front heavy setups. The Power Distribution Module powers the camera using a single cable, which connects to the BAT input port on the rear of the Alexa Mini. Access to the Time Code port, and CFast media slot remains unobstructed, meaning that your media can be removed without unmounting the power module. Users wanting to take advantage of the camera’s Ethernet functions, can do so by using the standard RJ-45 connector. A lever provides easy access to the power button. To maintain airflow, and proper operating temperature, a quiet internal fan automatically adjusts its speed, based on its built-in temperature sensor. An optional Run/Stop trigger cable (B4001.1010) is available for use with compatible devices. The built-in ARCA system allows for quick transitions between Steadicam, shoulder, or tripod workflows. Two 12” 15mm rods and a Safety Dovetail are included to round out the foundation of your setup. The NATO Side Rail provides additional mounting points to the operator's side, connecting the Top and Riser plates, creating a robust, secure design that wraps around the camera.  To cap off this Elite System is the 2-piece Top Plate that is secured to the top of the camera via a single ¼”-20 screw and through the hot shoe mount on the back of the camera. The design includes a removable back plate, if the user wants to use the hot shoe mount. D-Box (Sony Venice, V-Mount) is a custom version of our popular D-Box that adds power distribution, standardized remote start/stop, and hot swap abilities for the Sony Venice camera. The D-Box main unit attaches to the back of the AXS-R7 or to the V-Mount plate on the camera rear and the Power Strip portion attaches to the top right side of the camera via a 3pin Fischer and the tape hook threaded hole. Connectors on the D-Box Power Strip are contoured to match the camera profile and connector angle which allows for all cables to be installed with no collisions. The module communicates with the camera and allows any ARRI standard start/stop trigger to be used with the 3pin Fischer port including the ARRI UMC-4 / WCU-4. The DC input on the D-Box is the same as the camera's 4pin XLR connector allowing for an AC power supply, external power plate, or VCLX block battery to be connected to power accessories and camera during a battery change. When both battery and DC input are utilized, the D-Box defaults to the DC input, leaving the onboard battery fully charged. Physical fuses have been replaced by a processor controlled amp limit which is settable to 3.8, 5.8, or 9 amps using the slide switch on the operator's side. Should the user exceed the set current for accessories, only the accessory outputs are disabled leaving the camera running normally. Once the current load has been reduced by either removing accessories or reconfiguring, the reset button can be pressed to enable accessory power again. The "DC IN" and "BATT" LEDs are dual LEDs. This means the LED If battery voltage is above 12.5V the LED will be green. If the battery voltage is below 12V the LED will be red. If the battery voltage is between those values the LED will be orange (red + green). Flashing may occur during phase transition. Highest quality Anton Bauer components are used in the V-Mount assembly and the unibody power plate design is both extremely durable and lightweight. D-Box Sony Rialto Power Strip attaches to the back of the Sony Rialto (Venice Extension Head) by two captive 1/4-20 screws and provides two 2pin LEMOs at 12V, two 3pin Fischers at 24V with R/S, and one D-Tap at 12V.
